Beige, Cream & Nude Abayas

The light neutrals are the summer end of the wardrobe: sand, oatmeal, cream and off-white in fabrics chosen to stay breathable rather than to hold a heavy drape. They are worth buying with a little care — pale nida shows what is worn underneath more than a dark one does, so the pieces here are in the heavier weaves rather than the lightest. Embroidery on these is usually a contrast rather than tonal, which is what stops a pale abaya reading as plain.
