Nida Plain

Nida is the dry, matte crepe that most everyday abayas in Pakistan are made from: it breathes, it does not cling, and it holds a pressed edge. These are the plain nida cuts — a tassel-tie maxi, a double-patti gown with the doubled front band, a cheel flare and a self-button front — in the colours that get worn most. Nothing here is embellished, which is the point; they are bought for the shape and the cloth.
