How to Choose the Right Abaya Length
Length is what separates an abaya that looks made for you from one that looks handed down. Here is the two-minute check.
Step 1 — Stand in the shoes you will wear. Heel height changes everything, and most people measure barefoot and then wonder why the hem drags.
Step 2 — Measure shoulder to floor. Have someone run a soft tape from the top of your shoulder, straight down the front, to the floor. Keep it flat against you rather than pulled tight.
Step 3 — Take off one inch. A hem that clears the floor by about an inch moves properly and does not collect dust or catch under a heel.
A note on cheel cuts. The very wide flares hang slightly shorter than they measure, because the cloth is pulled outward as well as down. If you are between lengths on a cheel, size up.
Not sure? Message us on WhatsApp with your height and the heel you usually wear, and we will tell you which length to take.
