Laser Cutwork

A laser cuts the lattice into the nida itself, so the pattern is the fabric rather than something added to it — there is no thread to catch and nothing to weigh the sleeve down. The panels sit on the sleeve and along the front edge, over a plain underlayer so nothing shows through. A modern finish on a traditional cut, and one of the few worked abayas that is genuinely light enough for summer.
