Grey & Silver Abayas

Grey is the easiest colour to wear and the hardest to photograph, so it is worth saying where each of these actually sits. Dove and silver are pale enough to read as light in summer daylight; slate and steel are mid-tones that behave like a soft navy; graphite is nearly black indoors and clearly grey outside. The zari and crushed-weave pieces in this range are where grey earns its keep — the texture catches light that a flat colour would swallow.
